Artist Practice

Zaloznaya’s practice is rooted in the relationship between surface and feeling. Rather than treating the artwork as a static image, she approaches it as a space where colour, gesture, and form can hold emotional charge. The result is a body of work that feels open, nuanced, and quietly immersive.

Her visual thinking often balances clarity with ambiguity. This gives her works a contemplative quality: they do not simply describe a subject, but create an atmosphere around it.
