About the Event
A sound sculpture by Italian acoustic artist and designer Francesco Pellisari — a unique acoustic experience unfolding across three parts of an installation. Presented in Cyprus for the first time, the work has been created especially for the SYNCLERY space in Finikaria.
What to Expect
Part 1. Metamorphosis
An immersive experience of sound and reflections

Sixteen mirrored spheres hovering above you create a space where the familiar perception of reality shifts. Their hollow forms transform ambient sounds and the voices of the audience, while their mirrored surfaces multiply and distort reflections.
Here, everyone becomes part of the installation, opening up the opportunity to see, hear, and experience oneself in a new way.
Part 2. Seeing Sound
A dialogue between sound and water
Beyond the mirrored spheres, you arrive at a pool where sound becomes visible. An acoustic device sets the water in motion, creating changing patterns on its surface. What you hear takes shape before your eyes - a language of vibrations and forms.
Here, you are introduced to Francesco Pellisari’s artistic practice and his exploration of sound as a medium of communication. Through the dialogue between sound and water, the installation invites you not only to listen, but to see.
Part 3. Main
The Main Sound Sculpture
Inside SYNCLERY, the sound sculpture brings the gallery itself into resonance, revealing the acoustic character of the space. The sculpture and its surroundings become a single work - one you experience by listening from within.
Through three distinct sound environments, you are invited to discover how sound transforms your perception of the gallery. Rather than listening to an object, you listen to the space itself.
Part 4. Outro
The Sound Pool
The experience concludes in the SYNCLERY garden, where the sound pool invites you to slow down and immerse yourself in listening. Against the Tuscan-like landscape of Finikaria, sound, water, and the surrounding scenery create a setting for acoustic meditation.
Here, the focus shifts from observing to simply being present - a quiet moment to absorb the experience and discover your own connection with sound.
